Programs

Dream it.

The members of the 100 Black Men of Metro Birmingham engage in two strategic meetings a year. These meetings are outside of the National Office requirements. We plan most of our community involvement and need fulfillment.

Build it.

We actually execute on our strategic plan. Based on the community needs of the calendar school year, we employ different strategies to successfully build community through mentoring.

Grow it.

The 100 does not do any type of marketing. We focus upon key community area. Most of our mentees are referred to the program. We don’t look for trouble youth, but inspired youth. We are providing models for them to model after.

Share it.

As we build our program, we look to our students, parents, and community leaders to grow the pgoram. We are constantly looking for other organizations to partner with. We often see that there are many community programs, but little to no collaboration between them all. We seek to bring them many together for the betterment of the community.
